Silver Bowl 2023

The $110,000 Group 3 Silver Bowl (1400m) was formerly known as the Patron’s Bowl, which was inaugurated in 1997 in honour of the patrons of the Singapore Turf Club.

The race was first run over 1400m and in 2010, it was staged over 1600m for the first time when it ran as the second Leg of the previous Singapore Four-Year-Old Challenge. In 2018, it was renamed the Charity Bowl and in 2019, it was renamed again to Silver Bowl.

After a two-year hiatus, the Silver Bowl is now the opening Leg of the reinstated Singapore Four-Year-Old Challenge this year, followed by the Group 2 Stewards’ Cup (1600m) and culminating with the Group 1 Singapore Derby (1800m).
