1.          By registering for the photography walk event(s) titled “Singapore Turf Club: Capturing Our Beauty” (the “Event”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


2.          Please go through the following Terms & Conditions that govern the relationship between YOU and THE CLUB which include information on the participation in the Event.




3.          Registration to participate in the Event is open to any individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the date of the Event. Any intended registrant must truthfully and accurately provide all requested personal information to THE CLUB. THE CLUB reserves the right to refuse or invalidate any registration that fails to supply all requested personal information.


4.          Intended participants under the age of 18 must obtain the written consent of a parent or legal guardian before participating in the Event and shall submit proof of such consent, if required by THE CLUB. This consent shall imply that the parent or legal guardian agrees to the Terms & Conditions set out herein and will ensure that their child or ward will comply with the Terms & Conditions herein.


5.          For Event(s) that take place on the same day as and/or coincide with a Singapore Race Meeting (a “Race Day Event”) the registration for and participation in the Event (which include admission to THE CLUB’s Trophy Lounge) is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years and above. The exception is paragraph 4 shall not apply to Race Day Events.




6.          The Event requires pre-registration. Each participant must be registered and have a valid confirmation of registration to gain entry into the Event. Non-registered individuals are not permitted to accompany any registered participant to the Event. Registrations are unique to the registered individual and are non-transferrable.


7.          Registration for the Event is, subject to slot availability, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each individual may register for up to three (3) Events.


8.          Refusal of Entry:


a.          THE CLUB reserves the right to refuse entry to any registered participant who in THE CLUB’s sole opinion: (i) is late for the Event; (ii) is in possession of dangerous, antisocial, illegal or immoral items; or (iii) is considered to be unfit or undesirable to participate in the Event.


b.          YOU are required to adhere to all rules, regulations, and standards of reasonable behaviour at all times during the Event. THE CLUB reserves the right to require the immediate removal of any individual(s) whose conduct is considered to be improper or incompatible with the standards of reasonable behaviour.


9.          Dress Code: Registered participants who attend a Race Day Event are required to adhere to the required dress code for Trophy Lounge. For more details, please refer to https://www.turfclub.com.sg/en/things-to-do/racing/dress-code.html.


10.        Photography:


a.          Commercial photography at THE CLUB’s premises and during the Event is strictly prohibited.


b.          Flash photography directed at or around the horses and other animals on THE CLUB’s premises, or at any individual with the intention or potential of causing annoyance or discomfort to that individual, is strictly prohibited.


c.          Flash photography at any place on THE CLUB’s premises during a Race Day Event is strictly prohibited.


d.          Registered participants are required to adhere to all directions and guidance issued by THE CLUB or its representatives concerning permitted and safe photography as well as permitted subjects of any photography during the Event. Any direction and guidance issued by THE CLUB or its representatives prohibiting the photography of any animal(s), person(s) or place(s) or within any place(s) is final and must be immediately complied with.




11.        By participating in the Event, YOU acknowledge and accept sole responsibility for your own actions and conduct while on THE CLUB’s premises.


12.        YOU agree to exercise reasonable care in the use of THE CLUB’s facilities, goods, services and equipment and YOU shall be liable to THE CLUB and agree to indemnify THE CLUB for any actions, claims, damage, expenses or loss suffered by THE CLUB arising from or relating to any acts or omissions on your part, whether cause deliberately or by negligence.


13.        Participants attending the Event do so at their own risk and assume all risk liability for any loss of or damage to their property, personal injury or death including that of any children or wards under their care attending the Event. THE CLUB, its staff and its contractors shall bear no liability for any loss or damage to property, personal injuries, health problems or death sustained at or after an Event, including directly or indirectly resulting from any existing medical conditions.


14.        THE CLUB and its principal(s), agents and their respective employees, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, representatives, and assigns shall not be held liable for any such loss, damage, injury, or death. By registering for and participating in the Event, YOU agree to irrevocably waive any claim against THE CLUB and its principal(s), agents and their respective employees, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, representatives, and assigns for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.




15.        YOU acknowledge that, while participating in any Event, images, photographs or videos may be taken by other participants, THE CLUB or its representatives that may contain or feature you.


16.        THE CLUB or its representatives may use such images, photographs or videos for marketing, promotional or such other purposes. YOU consent to any such images, photographs and videos being taken and grant a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to THE CLUB, its principal(s), its representatives and assigns, to use and reproduce use such images, photographs or videos for any purpose whatsoever (including marketing, promotions and the creation of promotional materials by or with sub-licensees), in any medium whatsoever, whether currently known or hereinafter devised, without any obligation or compensation payable to you.




17.        Employees of THE CLUB and are ineligible to register for or participate in the Event.




18.        THE CLUB reserves the right to update or alter these Terms & Conditions at any time. THE CLUB will publish any updated Terms & Conditions on THE CLUB’s website or social media platforms, as the following web addresses:

19.        In the event of inclement weather, the Flora & Fauna photo walk will be replaced with the Architecture photo walk.




20.        THE CLUB collects, uses and discloses only that information reasonably required to enable THE CLUB and its Third Party Suppliers to provide the photo walks, as described in THE CLUB’S Privacy Policy and is expressly incorporated into these Terms. By submitting any personal information to THE CLUB, YOU indicate your acceptance of THE CLUB’S Privacy Policy.
