Definitions
“Racing Gold Card programme” refers to the benefits and privileges programme accorded to successful applicants of the Racing Gold Card, which terms and conditions are set out herein.
“Cardholder” or “Cardholders” refers to a cardholder or cardholders of the Racing Gold Card programme.
“Racing Gold Card” refers to the Card that will be issued upon successful application to the Racing Gold Card programme, Regular Scheme or Premium Scheme (as defined below).
“Regular Scheme” refers to the Racing Gold Card Regular Scheme.
“Premium Scheme” refers to the Racing Gold Card Premium Scheme.
“Club” refers to the Singapore Turf Club.
“OCB” refers to the Singapore Pool’s Off Course Betting Centres. For the full list, please visit https://www.singaporepools.com.sg/en/services/pages/live-betting-horse-racing-venues.html.
“Season Break” is the annual vacation period during which there are no racing fixtures and no races are run at the Club.
The following terms & conditions shall govern the application, use and termination of the Racing Gold Card programme (Regular Scheme and Premium Scheme) at the Club and OCBs.
General
1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Cardholders on the Regular Scheme shall enjoy the benefits and privileges set out in Appendix A and Cardholders on the Premium Scheme shall enjoy the benefits and privileges set out in Appendix B.
2 All Cardholders seeking free admission to the designated access areas and reserved room(s) at the Club and OCBs must produce a valid Racing Gold Card issued to them by the Club.
3 The Club reserves the right to change the location, size and facilities of the designated access areas and reserved room(s) at the Club and the list of designated OCBs to which free admission is granted, at any time without notice. Such changes shall not be a ground for Cardholders to withdraw from the Regular Scheme or Premium Scheme and/or claim a refund of any subscription fees paid by them.
Application
4 Application for the Regular Scheme or Premium Scheme shall be made using the application forms issued by the Club. Incomplete applications, applications containing inaccurate information and applications that are not accompanied by the requisite subscription fees may be rejected by the Club.
5 The Club reserves the right to reject any application without having to provide any reason(s) to the applicant.
6 The submission of the application form for a Regular Scheme or Premium Scheme shall be deemed an acceptance by the applicant of these Terms and Conditions.
Dress Code
7 All Cardholders and their guests must strictly comply with the prevailing dress code for entry to the Club. Any Cardholders or guest who do not comply will be refused entry. We reserve the right to refuse any Cardholder or guest access to the Club where a dress code is in force with which the Cardholder or guest does not comply with.
Authorisation to Disclose Information
8 All personal information submitted to the Club would be subject to the Club's Privacy Policy. To access and view the Singapore Turf Club's Privacy Statement, please visit our https://www.turfclub.com.sg/en/privacy-statement.html.
9 The Club does not disclose the Cardholder's personal particulars to our corporate partners; however, the Club shall not be in breach of its obligation of confidentiality if disclosure of a Cardholder’s confidential information is pursued in conjunction with an order of court or is required by law or any governmental or regulatory authority.
10 The Cardholder agrees that the Club may collect, use and disclose the Cardholder's personal data for the following purposes: (a) to process and manage this application; and (b) for any other purposes reasonably necessary, ancillary or related to the aforesaid.
Dissemination of Marketing Materials and Information
11 The Cardholder shall in this application indicate specifically whether marketing materials should be sent to the Cardholder whereupon the Club will be given absolute right by the Cardholder to mail, email, call, WhatsApp, and/or in other way communicate with the Cardholder in respect of any promotional matters whether he/she is registered or becomes registered with the DNC Registry.
The dissemination of the marketing materials and information to Cardholders who opt-in is done solely by the Club.
12 The Club will not be held responsible for any non-receipt of information or updates should the Cardholders choose to opt-out of the Racing Gold Card programme related information which may be sent from time to time.
13 It is the responsibility of the Cardholder to keep their personal details updated. The Club will not be responsible for any delayed, misdirected or lost mail. Any change in the Cardholders' personal details must be communicated in writing by Cardholder to the Club as soon as possible.
14 Cardholders may at any time withdraw in writing their consent given to the Club to send marketing materials and information. Upon withdrawal of consent, the Club will cease sending marketing materials and information to the Cardholder and the Club will not be liable for any failure to update or notify the Cardholder of any important information.
Use of the Racing Gold Card
15 The Racing Gold Card issued to a successful applicant is personal to the applicant and MUST NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO OR USED BY any other person. Cardholders found to have violated this Clause shall have their Racing Gold Card programme terminated and all benefits and privileges withdrawn without any refund of the subscription fees paid by them.
16 Whilst at the Club’s premises, Cardholders and their guests (if any) must at all times conduct themselves appropriately and observe all security and on-site regulations, including dress code and prohibitions against the use of mobile phones. Without prejudice to any other rights and remedies as may be conferred upon it by the law or these Terms and Conditions, the Club may expel any Cardholders and their guests (if any) from the Club’s premises should he/she behave in a disorderly manner, interfere with proper enjoyment of the facilities by other users of the Club’s premises or otherwise contravene any laws, security or on-site regulations.
Use of Mobile Phones
17 Mobile phones are permitted on the Club’s premises during race meetings except for certain controlled areas for racing integrity and safety reasons. All mobile phones are to be switched to silent/vibrate mode.
Parking Facilities
18 Parking facilities may be granted to Cardholders at the sole discretion of the Club. Any parking lots allocated may be withdrawn and their location changed at any time by the Club without any liability to the Cardholders.
Loss of Racing Gold Card
19 If their Racing Gold Card is lost, stolen or misused, Cardholders must immediately notify the Club.
20 Depending on the circumstances leading to the loss, theft or misuse of the Racing Gold Card, the Club shall have full discretion whether to replace the Card, and/or to charge a replacement fee for the replacement Card. In any circumstances that the Club decides not to replace the Racing Gold Card, the Cardholder’s Racing Gold Card programme will be terminated.
Liability
21 The Club shall not be liable for any changes to the race fixtures during the validity period of the Racing Gold Card. In addition, any cancellation of any race(s) by the Club or any other turf clubs shall not be grounds for any claims for compensation.
22 The Club shall not in any event whatsoever be liable for any loss or damage sustained or incurred by any Cardholder or his/her guests (if any) whilst on the Club’s premises whether such loss or damage be caused by the negligence of the Club or its employees or agents or otherwise. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Club shall not be liable for any injury sustained by any Cardholder or his/her guests (if any) whilst on the Club’s premises whether such injury be caused by the negligence of the Club or its employees or agents or otherwise.
Cancellation of Racing Gold Card
23 The Club shall have the right at any time to terminate the Racing Gold Card programme of a Cardholder immediately and withdraw all benefits and privileges from any Cardholder without refund of any subscription fees paid in the event that the Cardholder is convicted of any criminal offence and/or is declared a bankrupt and/or in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Club shall also have the right to terminate the Racing Gold Card programme and withdraw all benefits and privileges from any Cardholder at any time without assigning any reason.
Termination of Racing Gold Card programme by Cardholder
24 Requests to terminate the Racing Gold Card programme by a Cardholder must be made in writing to the Club. All termination requests are subject to review and approval by the Club. The Club shall notify the Cardholder in writing of its decision on the Cardholder’s termination request.
25 Upon confirmation of the termination of the Racing Gold Card programme by a Cardholder, all benefits and privileges of the Cardholder shall cease, and the Cardholder must return all Racing Gold Card items to the Club. In the event the Club decides to refund the balance subscription fees to the Cardholder, the calculation is as follows:

Variation By Singapore Turf Club
26 The Club reserves the right at any time to vary these Terms and Conditions by written notice or oral communication to Cardholders, or notices posted, or oral announcements made at the Club’s premises.
Indemnity
27 Cardholders shall indemnify and keep the Club indemnified against all and any action, proceeding, claim, demand, cost, damage and loss arising directly or indirectly from any act, neglect, default or breach of these Terms and Conditions by them and their guests.
FOR EXISTING CARDHOLDERS
Renewal Privileges
28 Subject to the Club’s prior approval, existing Cardholders who wish to renew their membership (including upgrades from the Regular Scheme to Premium Scheme) shall enjoy a 10% discount on their subscription fee (excluding the carpark add-on in the Regular scheme). Cardholders must submit their applications at least one month before their current membership expires. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club may withhold its approval without assigning any reasons or impose conditions for the grant of its approval, in which event the Cardholders must ensure that the conditions are fully complied with.
FOR PRO-RATED MEMBERSHIP
29 Subject to the Club’s prior approval, new and renewal applicants may sign up for their membership through to the final race meeting on 5 October 2024 at pro-rated subscription fees calculated from the membership commencement date. Renewal privileges apply. Membership commences seven working days after the completed application form is received for new applicants or the day after existing membership expires for renewal applicants. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club may withhold its approval without assigning any reasons or impose conditions for the grant of its approval, in which event the Cardholders must ensure that the conditions are fully complied with.
APPENDIX A
REGULAR SCHEME BENEFITS AND PRIVILEGES
1. Unlimited and free admission to the Grandstand Level 1 on all Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club. The Club reserves the right to designate other enclosures for the use of Cardholders should the Club require the designated access areas and reserved room(s) for the respective categories of Cardholders for other purposes, or if the capacity for which the designated access areas and/or reserved room(s) for the Cardholders is exceeded, or in the event of temporary closure of the designated access areas and reserved room(s) for any reason whatsoever. On race days when betting is available at the Off Course Betting Centres, Cardholders are also granted free admission to designated OCBs on a first-come-first-served basis. Save as expressly provided herein, Cardholders shall have no right of access to any premises, compounds or enclosures of the Club.
Birthday & Dine-in Privileges
2. Subject to the Club’s prior approval, Cardholders on the Regular Scheme shall enjoy complimentary admission to Grandstand Level 3 on Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club during their birthday month. Cardholders whose birthday occurs during the Season Break can enjoy the benefits in the calendar month prior to the Season Break. Cardholders must redeem this benefit in-person and will be required to present their Racing Gold Card and government-issued identification cards to the service staff. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club may withhold its approval without assigning any reasons or impose conditions for the grant of its approval, in which event the Cardholders must ensure that the conditions are fully complied with. The Club reserves the right to designate other enclosures for the Cardholders’ use.
3. Subject to the Club’s prior approval, Cardholders on the Regular Scheme shall enjoy a 10% discount on dine-in (excluding alcoholic drinks) at Grandstand Level 3 on Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club during their birthday month. Cardholders whose birthday occurs during the Season Break can enjoy the benefits in the calendar month prior to the Season Break. Cardholders must redeem this benefit in-person and will be required to present their Racing Gold Card and government-issued identification cards to the service staff. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club may withhold its approval without assigning any reasons or impose conditions for the grant of its approval, in which event the Cardholders must ensure that the conditions are fully complied with. The Club reserves the right to designate other enclosures for the Cardholders’ use.
Optional Parking Add-On
4. Regular Scheme Cardholders may apply for parking facilities in the carpark designated by the Club for Cardholders. The parking facilities are subject to availability and the Club’s prior approval, and upon payment of the stipulated fee.
APPENDIX B
PREMIUM SCHEME BENEFITS AND PRIVILEGES
1. Unlimited and free admission to the Grandstand Level 1 on all Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club. Cardholders on the Premium Scheme are also granted free admission to the Grandstand Level 3 on Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and betting is available at the Club. The Club reserves the right to designate other enclosures for the use of Cardholders should the Club require the designated access areas and reserved room(s) for the respective categories of Cardholders and their guest(s) (if applicable) for other purposes, or if the capacity for which the designated access areas and reserved room(s) for the respective categories of Cardholders (as the case may be) is exceeded, or in the event of temporary closure of the designated access areas and reserved room(s) for the respective categories of Cardholders (as the case may be) for any reason whatsoever. On race days when betting is available at the OCBs, Cardholders are also granted free admission to designated OCBs on a first-come-first-served basis. Save as expressly provided herein, Cardholders shall have no right of access to any premises, compounds or enclosures of the Club.
2. Complimentary parking for one car in the carpark designated by the Club for Cardholders.
Guest Privileges
3. Subject to the Club’s prior approval, Cardholders on the Premium Scheme may invite one guest who is at least 18 years old to the designated access areas and the reserved room(s) on Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club. Cardholders on the Premium Scheme shall also be entitled to enjoy a 20% discount on Grandstand Level 3 tickets for up to two additional guests. Cardholders intending to bring guests to the designated access areas and the reserved room(s), as the case may be, must submit the names and mobile numbers of their guests to the Club before any admission tickets will be issued, on the condition that the Cardholders must be present at all times when their guests are admitted. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club may withhold its approval without assigning any reasons or impose conditions for the grant of its approval, in which event the Cardholders must ensure that the conditions are fully complied with. The Club reserves the right to designate other enclosures for the use of guests of Cardholders.
4. The Cardholder confirms that he/she has obtained the guest(s)’s consent to the Club’s collection, use and disclosure of his/her/their personal data herein for the following purposes: (a) the processing of the application; (b) for security purposes; and (c) for any other purposes reasonably necessary, ancillary or related to the aforesaid.
5. Admission passes issued to approved guests are non-transferable and all guests must conduct themselves appropriately and observe all security and on-site regulations, including any dress code and prohibitions against the use of mobile phones, at all times whilst on the Club’s premises. Cardholders are fully responsible for the conduct of their guests.
6. Without prejudice to any other rights and remedies as may be conferred upon it by law or these Terms and Conditions, the Club may expel any Cardholders and his/her guests from the Club’s premises without refund of any admission fees paid in the event that the Cardholder or his/her guests fail to comply with the aforesaid requirements for the admission of guests and use of the admission passes at the Club’s premises or any of these Terms and Conditions.
7. Cardholders must draw the attention of their guests to these Terms and Conditions, including any clause which may limit or exclude the liability of the Club.
Birthday Privileges
8. Subject to the Club’s prior approval, Cardholders on the Premium Scheme shall enjoy 20% discount on dine-in (excluding alcoholic drinks) at Grandstand Level 3 on Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club during their birthday month. Cardholders whose birthday occurs during the Season Break can enjoy this benefit in the calendar month prior to the Season Break. Cardholders must redeem this benefit in-person and will be required to present their Racing Gold Card and government-issued identification cards to the service staff. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club may withhold its approval without assigning any reasons or impose conditions for the grant of its approval, in which event the Cardholders must ensure that the conditions are fully complied with. The Club reserves the right to designate other enclosures for the Cardholders’ use.
Dine-in Privileges
9. Subject to the Club’s prior approval, Cardholders on the Premium Scheme shall enjoy 10% discount on dine-in (excluding alcoholic drinks) at Grandstand Level 3 on Singapore race days, including, but not limited to simulcast or non-live race days as and when betting is available at the Club.
