Raffles Cup 2023

Inaugurated in 1991 and named after the founder of Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles, the Raffles Cup first ran as a standalone Group 1 feature race on 25 March this year. The race was won by Lim’s Kosciuszko, trained by Daniel Meagher.

 

The second running of the 1600m Group 1 feature race on turf with a prize purse of $300,000 will be held as the first Leg of the
reinstated Singapore Triple Crown series on 23 September. The next two Legs in this famed series will be the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup (1800m) and the Group 1 Singapore Gold Cup (2000m), which will take place in October and November, respectively.
