The Kranji Mile is a Group 1 race over 1600m on turf first introduced in 2000 when Singapore Turf Club settled into our current premises at Kranji. It once replaced the Queen Elizabeth II Cup as one of the three Legs of the Singapore Triple Crown series until 2018 when the Kranji Mile was revamped as an Invitational race.
Having evolved over the years, the Kranji Mile is now one of the most coveted feature races in Singapore’s racing calendar, with a prize purse of $1 million. Last year, Lim’s Lightning took the honours.
