Singapore Turf Club Riding Centre (STCRC) – Asia’s premier equestrian facility welcomed Colts Polo & Riding (Colts) onto its premises on 1 August 2022. Colts, the first and largest polo school to be accredited by the Argentine Polo Association (AAP) outside Argentina, will be hosting polo lessons and events at STCRC.

Colts will benefit from some of STCRC’s world-class facilities set amidst nine hectares of lush greenery – Singapore’s only all-weather arena purpose-built for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, outdoor arena, stables, training grounds, and event spaces. As part of the move, Colts has relocated its horses to STCRC, with plans to expand its horse population.

Access to STCRC’s end-to-end facilities means Colts can look forward to expanding its offerings to polo riders and enthusiasts in Singapore and overseas, and further develop equestrian sports as it continues to attract and groom polo riders in the country.

“We are very excited to move our polo school to STCRC where we will gain access to STCRC’s range of top-notch equestrian facilities. It will give Colts a great platform to further develop and grow the polo sport, attract new talent locally and at the same time offer our polo services to polo enthusiasts in Singapore and other countries in Asia,” said Patrick Furlong, Founder, Colts Polo & Riding.

Colts’ move to STCRC takes the Centre a step closer to becoming Singapore’s premium equestrian hub, offering equestrian experiences from horse riding lessons for amateurs and professionals to equestrian competitions, equine therapy, stable tours for those wanting to learn more about horses, livery services for horse owners, and now polo.

“We are delighted to welcome Colts to STCRC. Colt’s onboarding will expand the range of equestrian offerings at STCRC premises to include polo. As a key destination for equestrian sports and recreation, STCRC will continue to strike strategic partnerships to provide an elevated equestrian experience for all equine and equestrian enthusiasts,” said Jennifer Chin, Assistant Vice President (Business Operations), Singapore Turf Club.

In preparation for Colts’ move onto its premises, STCRC refurbished its stables and constructed a new arena. Also onsite is Singapore’s only fully equipped equine surgical facility, staffed with qualified equine veterinary surgeons.

To celebrate the move into STCRC, Colts will be hosting its flagship event, “Polo Generations 2022” in November 2022. Participants can look forward to a polo event that will celebrate family polo as well as women’s achievements in polo.
