Singapore Turf Club welcomes spectators back to live horse racing action

In view of the streamlining of safe management measures in Singapore, Singapore Turf Club (STC) today announced that it will be reopening its doors to the public from 30 April. After almost two years of racing behind closed doors, STC is preparing to welcome spectators back for some live Singapore horse racing action at its Grandstand from the upcoming race on 30 April.

With robust vaccination-differentiated safe management measures (SMM) in place, the Club stands ready to receive its members, VIPs and guests. All visitors and spectators to STC are required to be fully vaccinated* to enter the premises. Race day being a large-scale event attended by more than 500 guests, validation of vaccination status and SafeEntry check-in are required and via TraceTogether token or app only. In addition, in accordance with prevailing guidelines, mask-wearing remains mandatory indoors and at areas deemed indoors.

To safeguard the wellbeing of all guests, SMM reminders will be prominently displayed throughout the Grandstand. The Club will also deploy roving safe management officers to ensure that all patrons stay safe while enjoying the sporting action happening on the racetracks.

Members of the public must be 18 years old and above to attend the races. Grandstand Level 1 is accessible via direct deduction of $6 each on EzLink or NETS FlashPay card, or in cash at $8 each via self-service ticketing kiosks located at the Club. Grandstand Level 3 entry tickets priced at $30 each are also available for onsite purchase.

Livestreaming of races remains available for Singapore Pools Account Holders online or via StarHub Channels 288 and 289.

STC is committed to operating in a safe and responsible manner and ensuring the health and safety of everyone who enters its doors. After an almost two-year hiatus, the Club looks forward to welcoming spectators in-person again.

* An individual is considered vaccinated if he/ she has been: a) fully vaccinated, i.e. has received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccines including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective, and had their vaccination records ingested in MOH’s national IT systems; or b) recovered from COVID-19 within the last 180 days.
