A total of over 3,500 members of the public, comprising of children and their parents visited the Singapore Racecourse this evening, busking in the carnival atmosphere of the “Fun for All Under The Stars’ event. This is the first of the two annual Open Houses organised by the Singapore Turf Club (STC) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Children were excited over meeting their favourite STC mascots, Racer and Clover, and having their pictures taken together. The public were also treated to a multi-sensory experience of musical performances, carnival food and game stalls, as well as taking pony rides for a worthy cause. A total of $2,000 of proceeds from the pony rides were donated to Singapore Turf Club’s adopted charity -Thye Hua Kwan EIPIC@Woodlands towards aiding to build a multi-sensory gym for their beneficiaries.

The public got to watch the horses in action and children also got to participate in the colouring contest and win prizes. On top of that, there were also dance performances by Thai Dance Society of Singapore, magic show, balloon show and singing performances which kept everyone entertained.

At the end of the evening, members of the public had a deeper understanding about the Singapore Turf Club, after visiting the equine and Corporate Social Responsibility exhibition displays.
