Hua Mei Race Day

This charity event which saw the inaugural Hua Mei Race Day was attended by 200 guests, with Mr S R Nathan, former President of Singapore as the Guest of Honour.

A total of $200,000 was raised in support of Hua Mei Mobile Clinic’s frail and housebound elders.

Hua Mei Mobile Clinic was set up in 1993 by Tsao Foundation to provide care to elders who are mostly in their 70s and housebound due to difficulty in walking. These elders often live alone or come from low-income families, which makes it all the more challenging for them to seek proper medical care.
