STAR – Singapore Training Academy for Racing

STAR, jointly developed with the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (Spring Singapore), introduces the public to the racing industry in Singapore courses for the positions of Assistant Trainer, Track Rider/Apprentice Jockey, Farrier and Stable Groom. Courses will be taught in accordance with the National Skills Standards developed under the National Skills Recognition System (NSRS).

Training is conducted at the Singapore Racecourse and is the STAR’s mission that every trainee who has been trained and certified by the Academy emerges as a star horseman in his respective area of work.

STAR is open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents only.
