For horses that
have won
4 races or less to carry 52kg
1kg penalty for each subsequent win to a maximum of 57kg
1kg additional penalty for Group 2 or 3 winners (not cumulative)
2kg additional penalty for Group 1 winners (not cumulative)
Maximum top weight not to exceed 59kg irrespective of penalties earned
Should the highest weight accepting at the final declarations be set to carry less than 57kg then its weight will be raised to 57kg and all others raised equally
Fillies and Mares will be given 1.5kg allowance
Any applicable Weight-For-Age allowance will be applied to a minimum weight of 50kg
Rider allowances not permitted
