STIPE'S REPORT RACE 3 [TF347] FORGET ME NOT STAKES CLASS 4 1200M DIVISION 3 DARWIN (I Saifudin) was difficult to be loaded. Trainer C Brown was advised that a warning has been placed on DARWIN regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future. MAGIC LEG (J Powell) was slow to begin. ROYAL BRAT (App J See) began awkwardly. SKY BANDIT (S John) and BULL SHOT (J Moreira) were both buffeted between BOYLE (B Vorster), which jumped outwards and CHILLI (App SH Low), which jumped inwards. TOUCH LUCK (O Placais) was difficult to settle in the early stages. VILLAGE (App R Shafiq) raced wide throughout. Approaching the 300m, TIEN CHAI (KB Soo) was held up on the heels of BULL SHOT and had to be taken inwards to obtain a clear run. DARWIN, which was racing greenly, shifted outwards shortly after making the turn into the straight and momentarily hampered COFFEE KID (R Stewart). The Farrier reported that MAGIC LEG returned having cast its near-fore plate. Jockey Moreira, when questioned regarding the run of BULL SHOT, stated that after travelling well in the initial stages, the gelding failed to run on when placed under pressure and disappointed. His explanation was noted. BULL SHOT was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
