CAPE TREASURE (App TH Koh) shifted outwards abruptly on jumping and
took no further part in the race. CAPE TREASURE will be required to pass
two consecutive starting stall tests prior to being declared to race again in
terms of MRA Rule 78(2).
MARTINCHO CAT (R Fradd) jumped away awkwardly.
Approaching the 800m, MR GEE (S Cormack) steadied when racing tight
between URBAN DANCER (V Duric) and TENZING (J Moreira), which was
carried inwards slightly by TOP VENTURE (N Cunha).
TOP VENTURE raced wide from the 600m.
Shortly after passing the 400m, TOP VENTURE and TENZING became
unbalanced after making contact. TOP VENTURE and TENZING bumped
again approaching the 300m.
URBAN DANCER had difficulty obtaining a clear run between the 400m and
Jockey M Kellady, the rider of COFFEESHOP GOSSIP, reported that after
being caught wide in the early stages from a wide barrier, he elected to go
back in an attempt to obtain a position closer to the rail.
CAPE TREASURE was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical
examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.

making respiratory noises. GOD OF SPEED was impounded for routine

declared to race again.
