STIPE'S REPORT RACE 4 [TF284] MANULIFE CUP 2011 RESTRICTED MAIDEN 1400M WEIGHT FOR AGE (2 & 3 YEARS OLD) ROCKET MAIL (App HK Cheng) jumped away awkwardly. CARRE BLANC (V Duric) jumped inwards at the start bumping TAKE THE FIFTH (R Stewart). Shortly after the start, CARRE BLANC got its head up when racing keenly. Approaching the 1000m, TAKE THE FIFTH, ENZO (J Saimee) and CARRE BLANC all commenced to race keenly. Shortly after passing the 1000m, CARRE BLANC had to be steadied after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of SO PERFECT (App A Feiruz). Approaching the 900m, ENZO and TAKE THE FIFTH were both buffeted between CARRE BLANC and LAVA LAVA (M Zaki), which laid outwards. Making the turn near the 900m, OBJECTIVE LOVE (J Moreira), which was overracing, got its head up on a number of occasions. TORMENTA (V Sivan) raced wide throughout. Approaching the turn into the straight, TAKE THE FIFTH laid outwards, thereby carrying UP TO UP (S Cormack) wider on the track. TORMENTA, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again. OBJECTIVE LOVE was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
