RACE 7 (R188)
BRIGHT PRINCE which was up 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by
the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
The Stewards permitted App J Nizam to replace App K Yazid on FIRE KINGDOM as
the latter was stood down by the Club Medical Officer.
THE ABLE ONE jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped BRIGHT PRINCE onto
MALAYEEN.
Shortly after the start, KIKOS RETURN had to steady when bufetted between
ULTIMATE GLAMOUR and HUSONIC.
NEW KUALA DIPANG was obliged to race wide on the bend and thereafter entered the
home straight wide.
JERAM FATT CHOY hung inwards in the home straight and proved difficult to be
ridden out fully.
BRIGHT PRINCE had a tendency to lay out in the home straight.
Approaching the 350M, FIRE KINGDOM steadied and switched out over the heels of
BIGBIRD to obtain a clear run.
In the concluding stages, ISHBILIYA and SAGARS GREAT brushed when racing tight.
NEW KUALA DIPANG which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet)
before being entered to race again.
Jockey A Kumar, the rider of THE ABLE ONE, reported that his horse was not striding
out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of THE ABLE ONE revealed no obvious
abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of ULTIMATE GLAMOUR revealed that it was
striding short both fore and as such will be required to undergo a veterinary examination
before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of JERAM FATT CHOY revealed no obvious
abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that HUMBLE PRINCE returned having cast its
near fore plate.
