STIPE'S REPORT RACE 6 [TF166] CLASS 4 1600M SALVAGENTE (YF Leong) was slow to begin. SEAN (O Chavez) began awkwardly and lost ground. Passing the 1400m, CHIEF SECRETARY (J Saimee) was inconvenienced when crowded between BAY OF ISLAND (V Duric) and HEAR ME (S John), which shifted outwards after getting its head up. HIS MY IDOL (D Beasley) was difficult to settle in the backstraight and had to be continually restrained off the heels of BAY OF ISLAND. CHIEF SECRETARY raced wide from the 1200m. ROCKET SINGH (I Saifudin) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality. Following the running of Race 6, Jockey S Sam, the rider of MAKE A RETURN, was examined by the Course Medical Officer who declared him unfit to fulfil his remaining riding engagement. All riders returned to scale an average of ½kg overweight due to the weather conditions.
