KAKA was restless in the barrier.
CAPTAIN DE LAGO was a little slow to begin.
KIM DIVA and CIZEN WORLD came together at the start.
SACRED BLADE jumped awkwardly inwards and shortly thereafter, steadied off the
heels of DREAM ISLAND which rolled out.
Shortly after the start, AMAZING GRACE and ULTIMATE FIGHTER were both
tightened between FEARED and THINK WONDERFUL both of which shifted ground.
Approaching the 200M, AMAZING GRACE, CENTURY FLYBOY and FEARED raced
tight for a short distance.
Jockey R Woodworth, the rider of LUCKY PLAYER reported that his horse was not
striding out freely and was making marked respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary
examination of LUCKY PLAYER revealed that the gelding returned broken-winded. The
gelding will be required to undergo corrective surgery and thereafter pass a test
(1200M/vet) before being entered to race again.
App KM Lai, the rider of SACRED BLADE, reported that his horse was not striding out
freely. A post-race veterinary examination of SACRED BLADE revealed no obvious
abnormality. The gelding which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet)
before being entered to race again.
Jockey M Djulkifli, the rider of KIM DIVA, reported that his horse was not striding out
freely. A post-race veterinary examination of KIM DIVA revealed no obvious
abnormality. Jockey M Djulkifli was subsequently stood down by the Club Medical
Officer.
App Alex Chew, the rider of ULTIMATE FIGHTER, reported that his horse was not
striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of ULTIMATE FIGHTER revealed
no obvious abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of HUNGARIAN revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that COPPERFIELD returned having cast its off
fore plate.
