STIPE'S REPORT
ON THE RAZZ
Crowded at the start between SHE'S THE ONE, which jumped inwards and SHANGANI, which had been taken outwards by MR ROCKWELL.
The Farrier reported that the horse returned having cast its off-fore plate.
Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that, in his opinion, the gelding did not appreciate the firm track conditions. His explanation was noted. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse returned with a cut on its off-fore heel.
Raced poorly and will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

PACIFIC OCEAN
Lost ground soon after the start after being bumped heavily by SHE'S THE ONE.
Raced poorly and will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

MR ROCKWELL
Prior to the running of Race 5, Trainer DL Freedman notified the Stewards that the tactics were to endeavour to ride the gelding closer from the barrier.
Settled in a second position.
Jumped away awkwardly and then shifted outwards making heavy contact with SHANGANI.
Rider reported that his mount travelled well, however, was under pressure shortly after entering the homestraight. He added that, in his opinion, the gelding would be better suited ridden further back in the field. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned lame near-fore. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

AVENGERS HERO
Trainer HW Tan, when questioned regarding the significant decrease in the body weight of AVENGERS HERO, stated that the training regime on the horse increased and therefore, it had shown a decrease in weight. He also added that AVENGERS HERO, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed AVENGERS HERO fit to race.
Just prior to the start being effected, lifted its off-hind leg and then as a result, jumped away very awkwardly and very slow to begin. Trainer HW Tan was warned and advised to improve its barrier manners.
Rider reported that the horse was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned lame near-fore. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

SHANGANI
Bumped on jumping. The near-side Winker became detached near the 1200m.

SUCCESS STREET
Acting on a report from the Singapore Turf Club Laboratory that the Pre-Race Blood Sample taken from the gelding had an elevated TCO2 level at an average of 35.6 millimoles per litre in plasma, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1408Hrs. The Stewards took evidence from Trainer KY Young. The Stewards acted under the provisions of MRA Rule 134(14)(c) which reads, 'Where the Stewards are satisfied that a horse has, or is likely to have been, administered any alkalinising agent contrary to 134(14)(a), the Stewards may prevent the horse from starting in the relevant race.' The matter has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.

SHE'S THE ONE
Jumped inwards at the start bumping ON THE RAZZ and due to that bump, got very unbalanced.

FLASH THE FLAG
Raced wide without cover. Hung inwards severely in the straight, resulting in its rider being unable to place his mount under any pressure.
Rider reported that his mount hung inwards badly in the homestraight. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned lame off-fore. Due to its unruly racing manners, it will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
