STIPE'S REPORT

ARAMCO
Near the 1000m, was bumped by SUPER WINNER.

SUPER WINNER
Was bumped by SUPER FORTUNE on jumping. Near the 1000m, became very unbalanced after being bumped by EYE GUY and then made contact with ARAMCO.

AUTUMN RUSH
Bumped near the 250m.

SUPER FORTUNE
Jumped outwards at the start and bumped SUPER WINNER. Raced wide without cover.
Rider reported that his mount raced three wide without cover throughout the race. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

TESORO PRIVADO
Prior to the running of Race 7, Trainer J Peters notified the Stewards that the tactics were to ride the gelding quiet with a lot of speed drawn inside.
Settled in a midfield position.
A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned having bled. In terms of MRA Rule 92(5), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any racecourse for a period of five months, and may not start in any race for a period of six months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed a bleeder¿s test.

RAISE NO DOUBT
Shortly after the start, had to be eased when momentarily crowded between KING LOUIS and TIME ODYSSEY, which shifted inwards.

KING LOUIS
Passing the 1000m, had to be steadied away from DISTINCTIVE DARCI, which shifted outwards slightly. Raced wide throughout.

NIMBLE
Course Scratching - lame off-hind; veterinary examination required

EYE GUY
Near the 1000m, shifted outwards abruptly and bumped SUPER WINNER out onto ARAMCO.
Rider reported that his mount was slow to begin resulting in it settling further back than anticipated. He added that the gelding then finished off the race strongly and would be better suited over longer distances. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned lame off-fore. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

NOVA SWISS
Raced wide throughout. Approaching the 250m, was bumped by AUTUMN RUSH, which shifted outwards slightly under hard riding.

NOWYOUSEE
Course Scratching - maximum field

Trainer M Clements was fined a sum of S$100 in terms of MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the correct colours on GINGERELLA (App R Iskandar).

The Stewards interviewed Trainer B Marsh on Tuesday, 02 April 2019 with regard to nominating WAR AFFAIR in this particular race and whether the nomination was a genuine entry given the horse had not raced for six months and had not barrier trialed. Trainer Marsh was then again interviewed at length on Friday, 05 April 2019 concerning comments on Tuesday, 02 April 2019 he had made in print and social media that the gelding would be running and then ultimately scratched the horse prior to Declarations on Wednesday, 03 April 2019. Trainer Marsh explained that the gelding had not eaten up on Saturday, 30 March 2019 and Sunday, 31 March 2019 after having done fast work on Saturday, 30 March 2019 and was then required on Tuesday, 02 April 2019 to complete a 1000M/Vet test and again left feed that night. Therefore, he elected to scratch WAR AFFAIR on Wednesday, 03 April 2019. The Stewards outlined to Trainer Marsh their concerns as to whether WAR AFFAIR had been entered with the primary purpose of affecting the weight allocated to any other horse that was accepted for the race. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
