STIPE'S REPORT
PHAN NEE STAR
Shortly after the start, shifted outwards and inconvenienced PRESENT and during the incident, rider lost the use of his off-side rein which he regained shortly thereafter.

AABIR
Shifted inwards abruptly after the start crowding MY GENESIS.

GREAT HEART
After being bumped by PRESENT on jumping, shifted outwards and contacted ROYAL PAVILION.
Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that the gelding was very fresh at its first start and after obtaining a good run outside the leader, it was then one-paced in the homestraight. He added that the gelding was making respiratory noises after the race. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse returned as a roarer. The Veterinary Surgeon also advised that GREAT HEART had previously undergone corrective surgery for this condition.

ITOLDYOUSO
Which reared over, was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. Acting on veterinary advice, it was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 1955Hrs. Will be required to pass one starting stall test and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

MY GENESIS
Had to be eased shortly after the start when crowded between ROYAL PAVILION and AABIR, which shifted inwards abruptly.

FLAUNT
Raced wide without cover.

MY MIRACLE
Raced wide.

PAVAROTTI
Began awkwardly. Had to be checked near the 850m to avoid the heels of MY GENESIS, which shifted outwards when it was avoiding interference to its inside.

PRESENT
Jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with GREAT HEART, which then shifted outwards slightly and made contact with ROYAL PAVILION. Approximately 50m after the start, was eased off the heels of PHAN NEE STAR, which shifted outwards.

ROYAL PAVILION
Had to be checked passing the 900m to avoid the heels of PRESENT, which shifted outwards to avoid the heels of PHAN NEE STAR when it shifted outwards abruptly after being ridden along with the whip.

App WS Chan, the rider of PHAN NEE STAR, in the presence of Trainer D Logan's B Trainer, Mr G Forbes, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that passing the 900m, after riding his mount along with the whip, he permitted his mount to shift outwards. This resulted in PRESENT (C Murray) having to shift outwards to avoid PHAN NEE STAR's heels, resulting in ROYAL PAVILION (J Powell), which was following, having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from App Chan that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meeting on Sunday, 24 March 2019. App Chan was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 25 March 2019 to Sunday, 07 April 2019 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
