App I Amirul, the rider of YULONG HOLY FLYING, in the presence of Trainer KS Tan, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that soon after the start, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, when not clear of THE ONE (App R Iskandar), which was taken inwards, resulting in KEEP WINNING (N Juglall) clipping the heels of THE ONE, and almost dislodging the rider. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from App Amirul that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Sunday, 03 February 2019, Wednesday, 06 February 2019 and Friday, 08 February 2019. App Amirul was suspended from riding in races with effect from Saturday, 09 February 2019 to Friday, 22 February 2019 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
