HIPPO VENTURA
Rider reported that he was obliged to settle towards the rear from a wide barrier. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
KING OF GLORY
Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding settling more forward than it had at its most recent starts, stated that there was no specific instructions issued other than to settle where comfortable, and after beginning well, he elected to hold a forward position. His explanation was noted.

BOHEMIAN
Commenced a run from the 600m four wide without cover. Hung inwards abruptly approaching the 200m before being straightened by its rider.
SIMPANG
Checked approaching the 700m.
M Ewe, the rider of LAND BELOW D WIND, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that approaching the 700m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards placing the runners to his inside in restricted room, that being ULTIMATE KILLER (App A Syahir), which was taken inwards onto SIMPANG (App CC Wong), which in turn shifted inwards onto PARKER (T See), which had to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submission from Jockey Ewe that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 25 January 2019. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Saturday, 26 January 2019 to Sunday, 03 February 2019 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
