STIPE'S REPORT RACE 3 [TF1202] CLASS 4 POLYTRACK 1200M DIVISION 2 On jumping away, MSIXTEEN (YF Leong) shifted inwards and carried MAGIC MOXIE (J Moreira) in onto COMMON INTEREST (App TR Barnabas), which in turn bumped TRIGGER SYNERGY (V Duric) in onto WOLFSBANE (M Gallagher). As a result, TRIGGER SYNERGY became unbalanced. After passing the 1000m, HIS MY IDOL (J Saimee) checked when racing to the inside of WOLFSBANE and SUPER RICH (S John). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed. COMMON INTEREST raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Passing the 800m, HIS MY IDOL shifted outwards and bumped COMMON INTEREST. MAGIC MOXIE laid inwards under pressure over the concluding stages. Passing the 700m, TRIGGER SYNERGY shifted in and away from MAGIC MOXIE and in doing so, bumped WOLFSBANE. The Farrier reported that WOLFSBANE returned having cast its near-fore plate. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of TRIGGER SYNERGY, Jockey Duric, stated that his mount became very unbalanced after being bumped at the start. He added that he then rode TRIGGER SYNERGY along in the early stages in an attempt to take up more forward position. He further added that the gelding received another bump and became unbalanced near the 800m and then failed to respond to his riding from that point onwards. His explanation was noted. TRIGGER SYNERGY was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
