STIPE'S REPORT
GOOD BROTHER (SU Lim) jumped inwards and bumped with ELITE CONQUEROR (C Goon).

AUSONE (S Ruzaini) was slow to begin and was soon well behind despite being urged. AUSONE which raced ungenerously, will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again for having a poor performance.

AUSSIE EAGLE (J Mallyon) which was drawn outside, raced wide throughout. AUSSIE EAGLE will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again for having a poor performance.

POWERFUL FIGHTER (J De Souza) laid inwards from the 300M.

PALTROW (L Sofhan) laid inwards under pressure at about the 300M and was then awkwardly placed on the heels of SANGKURIANG (App KC Wong) as a consequence. PALTROW was shifted outwards approaching the 200M to obtain clear running but the rider was once again forced to ease approaching the 150M as POWERFUL FIGHTER shifted inwards in his path.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App WK Lee, the rider of TEH TARIK, in the presence of his Acting Master, Trainer SY Lim, was found guilty of a charge under MRA Rule 44(10) for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards in that:

1. He made no attempt to change his whip hand on a horse that was persistently laying in away from a right-hand drive and has a history of doing so.
2. In the last 100M, he rode with a lack of vigour and allowed TEH TARIK to come home with no significant assistance. TEH TARIK finished in fourth place, beaten a head for third place.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App WK Lee's mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of six (6) months with effect from 5 November 2018 and to expire on 4 May 2019, both dates inclusive, to be served concurrently with his suspension in Race 5 today. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (7:50pm).
