STIPE'S REPORT
FORTUNIQUE (R Woodworth) stood still as the barrier opened and came out approximately 30 seconds after the remainder of the field. When questioned, Jockey R Woodworth stated that FORTUNIQUE had been distracted in the barrier by the rider of KARIGARA (App CK Khaw), which was drawn on his inside, attempting to keep his horse motivated by slapping it down the shoulder with his whip. FORTUNIQUE will be required to pass 2 tests (1000M/Vet from the starting stall tests at consecutive weekly intervals) before being declared to race again. Trainer S Dunderdale was advised that a repetition may lead to the gelding being referred to the Racing Stewards for further sanction. A post-race veterinary examination of FORTUNIQUE revealed no significant finding. The gelding was impounded.

From the 300M, RISING GLORY (HS Gill) commenced to race greenly under pressure; first laying inwards and then shifting abruptly outwards causing SHELLOMADA (J De Souza) to shy away and be taken slightly wide.

At about the 100M, RISING GLORY again shifted outwards under pressure, bumping SHELLOMADA and becoming unbalanced as a result. Jockey HS Gill was shown the vision of this incident and warned that he would be expected to take appropriate measures to keep his horses straight in future.

SEA WORLD (App L De Souza) laid outwards under pressure in the final 100M.

Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of ROC THAT, reported post-race that his saddle slipped backwards during running.
