STIPE'S REPORT
BOY NEXT DOOR
Shifted outwards shortly after the start making heavy contact with GOLDEN EXPLORER. Raced wide without cover.

STREET PARTY
Tightened when bumped on jumping. Raced in restricted room between FOREVER WIN and FLAUNT for a short distance shortly after the start.

MR COPPOLA
Crowded near the 800m.
Rider, when questioned, stated that the gelding had had a good jump, however, was under constant pressure in the early and middle stages. He added that his mount suffered interference on several occasions between the 900m and the 800m, and did not stride out freely passing the 400m.
A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

SUPER WIN
Slow to begin and had to be eased shortly thereafter to avoid the heels of LINCOLN MOONLIGHT, which shifted outwards.

FLAUNT
Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced.

FOREVER WIN
Jumped awkwardly outwards bumping STREET PARTY out onto FLAUNT.
Crowded near the 800m.

GOLDEN EXPLORER
Bumped heavily shortly after the start.

LIM'S MYSTERY
Had a tendency to lay outwards approaching the turn into the homestraight.

SALAMENCE
Crowded near the 800m.

CARIBBEAN LADY
Checked near the 600m.

BURGUNDY HEIGHTS
Raced wide without cover.

As there was no similar claiming rider available, the Stewards gave permission for App CK Ng to replace App R Zawari on BURGUNDY HEIGHTS.

App CC Wong, the rider of BOY NEXT DOOR, in the presence of his Master, Trainer KS Tan, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 800m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, to a point where he left insufficient racing room for the runners to his inside. This resulted in crowding to a number of runners, these being SALAMENCE (R Woodworth), FOREVER WIN (E Aslam) and MR COPPOLA (B Vorster). That crowding resulted in all three horses becoming very unbalanced for some distance. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from App Wong that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meeting on Sunday, 02 December 2018. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 03 December 2018 until Sunday,
09 December 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

App CC Wong, the rider of BOY NEXT DOOR, in the presence of his Master, Trainer KS Tan, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 700m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards to a point where there was insufficient room for four runners, these being SALAMENCE (R Woodworth), FOREVER WIN (E Aslam), MR COPPOLA (B Vorster) and CARIBBEAN LADY (M Lerner) to his inside. As a result, near the 600m, CARIBBEAN LADY had to be checked and lost its position. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness. App Wong was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 10 December 2018 to Sunday, 06 January 2019 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his suspension from Monday, 03 December 2018 until Sunday, 09 December 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days).
