STIPE'S REPORT
CAORUNN
Prior to the running of Race 8, Trainer S Baertschiger advised the Stewards that his instructions to the rider, if circumstances permit, if it jumps, will go forward.
Settled outside the leader.

KRATOS
Near the 400m, became awkwardly placed on the heels of QUEEN ROULETTE, which shifted outwards in an attempt to obtain clear running.
App Y Salim was warned for permitting his mount to shift inwards near the 700m when not quite fully clear of CLARTON TREASURE.

I'VE GOT A FEELING
Prior to the running of Race 8, Trainer S Baertschiger advised the Stewards that his instructions to the rider, if circumstances permit, to go back from the wide barrier.
Settled at the rear of the field.
Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that he was instructed to settle the gelding back in the field, however, as he was going to be caught wide in the early stages, he eased his mount to the rear of the field in an effort to race closer to the inside rail and to obtain cover. Thus, settling a little further back than he would have expected. He added that the gelding then travelled well and commenced to improve rounding the hometurn. He added that he was momentarily held up after passing the 400m and then his mount responded well to his riding and commenced to run on strongly, however, shortly after passing the 200m, he stated that his mount did not continue to run on and weakened over the concluding stages. His explanation was noted. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse exhibited signs of respiratory distress after the race. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

MISS DUSTY
Held up approaching and rounding the hometurn before obtaining clear running to the outside of AUGUSTANO near the 400m.

SIAM VIPASIRI
Prior to the running of Race 8, Mr Michael White, Trainer M Clements' Assistant Trainer, advised the Stewards that his instructions to the rider, if circumstances permit, endeavour to ride midfield with cover.
Settled just behind midfield with cover.
Rider, when questioned the run of SIAM VIPASIRI, stated that the filly travelled well in the early and middle stages, however, when making the turn into the homestraight, was carried outwards wider on the track when runners to its inside shifted outwards. He added that the filly ran on strongly under hard riding over the concluding stages. His explanation was noted. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

STAR EMPEROR
Slow to begin.

STUNNING CAT
Prior to the running of Race 8, Trainer S Baertschiger advised the Stewards that his instructions to the rider, if circumstances permit, endeavour to settle midfield from the draw.
Settled midfield.

CLARTON TREASURE
When persevering to hold a position to the inside of KRATOS near the 750m, commenced to overrace when having to be restrained off the heels of KRATOS for some distance.
Approaching the 100m, when making ground, had to be steadied and shifted outwards to avoid the heels of CAORUNN, which was weakening.
