Got its head up and shifted inwards abruptly near the 100m.

LET¿S TALK NOW
Approaching the 200m, had to be restrained for a short distance to avoid the heels of MASTER BANGER, which shifted slightly under pressure.

MASTER BANGER
Rider was warned to make greater effort in keeping his mount straight when allowing his mount to shift ground near the 200m causing LET¿S TALK NOW to be inconvenienced.

A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the gelding returned as a roarer. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.

SECONDWAVE
Raced wide without cover.

When weakening, had to be steadied inside the 100m to avoid the heels of BOHEMIAN, which shifting inwards under pressure.

ALWAYS THERE
Rider, was questioned regarding the tactics today, stated that when ridden positively in the early stages to lead which had not been consistent with its normal racing pattern, and he explained that he was carrying out the instructions given to him by the Trainer. Mr L Khoo confirmed the instructions as the gelding had not been performing well. So his intention was to try something different. The Stewards advised Mr Khoo that in future when adopting significant change to riding tactics, he must notify The Stewards within reasonably time prior to the race.

A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned having bled. In terms of MRA Rule 92(3), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any racecourse for a period of two months and may not start in any race for a period of three months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed a bleeder¿s test.

ULTIMATE KILLER
Rider when questioned stated, that the gelding travelled reasonably well in the early and middle stages and ran on fairly in the homestraight under hard riding. Was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

BOHEMIAN
Slow to begin.

Rider was warned to exercise more care when permitting his mount to shift in passing the 100m when not fully cleared of SECONDWAVE.
