Laid inwards under pressure in the straight.

THREE LIONS
Acting on veterinary advice that the horse was found to be lame off-fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1325Hrs. In terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

DARCI'S BOY
Momentarily steadied approaching the 300m when carried inwards by MURDOCH.

DESTINY KNIGHT

BAYMAX
Bumped on jumping.

NICATOR
Slow into stride after jumping away awkwardly and making contact with BAYMAX. Shortly after the start, got its head up whilst being steadied after racing up and becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of BAYMAX. Then raced ungenerously in the early stages.

POWERFUL AS WIND
Over the concluding stages, steadied when tightened to the inside of MURDOCH, which laid inwards.

DRAGON
Showed no early pace despite the urgings of its rider.

A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

MOON RIVER
Rider reported that the horse was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

GRAND PARIS
Course Scratching ¿ lame near-fore; veterinary certificate required

As there was no suitable rider available, the Stewards gave permission for claiming Jockey M Zaki to replace App T See on NICATOR.


Jockey V Duric, the rider of MURDOCH, was subsequently shown the video of an incident over the concluding stages and was warned to take greater care when shifting ground in future.
