At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Thursday, 26 April 2018, Jockey R Curatolo, the rider of GOLDEN THUNDER, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding GOLDEN THUNDER in Race 3 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 18 March 2018, near the 1050m, he allowed his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear, resulting in FRAGRANCE EMPIRE (M Ewe) having to be checked.
