TERMS OF REFERENCE
Became unbalanced making the turn into the straight, when bumped by ANCIENT WARRIOR.

QUEEN ROULETTE
Began awkwardly.

TURQUOISE KING
Laid inwards shortly after the start crowding LIM¿S RIPPLE out onto ANCIENT WARRIOR.

ANCIENT WARRIOR
Eased shortly after the start when crowded between AUGUSTANO which shifted outwards and LIM¿S RIPPLE, which was carried inwards by TURQUOISE KING. Made contact with TERMS OF REFERENCE making the turn into the straight.

JUSTICE FIRST
Slow to begin and refused to stride out in the early stages despite the effort of its rider and as such was tailed off throughout. A subsequent veterinary examination was requested which revealed that the gelding returned not striding out freely and raced poorly. Will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

Shifted outwards shortly after the start, crowding ANCIENT WARRIOR out onto LIM¿S RIPPLE

HUMDINGER
Lost ground after beginning awkwardly. Laid outwards in the early part of the straight. Near the 200m momentarily eased off the heels of WIJAYA, which rolled inwards.

LIM'S RIPPLE
Shortly after the start, had to be eased when crowded between ANCIENT WARRIOR which had been carried outwards by AUGUSTANO and TURQUOISE KING which laid inwards.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 14 February 2018, Jockey E Aslam, the rider of WHITE COFFEE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding WHITE COFFEE in Race 10 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 21 January 2018, near the 150m, he permitted his mount to shift outwards, when insufficiently clear of TEMBUSU ESTRELLA (G Boss), resulting in that runner having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from Jockey Aslam that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Saturday, 17 February 2018 and Sunday, 18 February 2018. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 19 February 2018 until Friday, 02 March 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Saturday, 17 February 2018, Jockey G Boss, the rider of PAPERBACK TROOPER, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding PAPERBACK TROOPER in Race 8 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 26 January 2018, near the 250m, he permitted his mount to shift outwards, when insufficiently clear of METTLESOME (App T See), resulting in that runner having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Boss was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 19 February 2018 to Friday, 02 March 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey K A¿Isisuhairi was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 19 February 2018 to Friday, 02 March 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Saturday, 17 February 2018, App WS Chan, the rider of SILENT CONNECTION, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding SILENT CONNECTION in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 04 February 2018, near the 800m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, resulting in BIG REGARDS (G Boss) and GALAXY EXPRESS (App S Noh) being crowded with BIG REGARDS having to check and lose ground. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness. App Chan was suspended from riding in races with effect from Sunday, 18 February 2018 to Friday, 23 February 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

On Monday, 12 February 2018, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that HUN YEANG ROAD (I Azhar) returned not striding out freely. HUN YEANG ROAD cannot race for seven days and must be presented to an Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.


SNTC TRACKWORK : WEDNESDAY, 14 FEBRUARY 2018

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SHAMROCK (E189), trained by Trainer M Walker, bled on Wednesday, 14 February 2018. In terms of MRA Rule 92(5), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any racecourse for a period of five months, and may not start in any race for a period of six months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed a bleeder¿s test.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that RIVER OF GOLD (W285), trained by Trainer M Yusof, bled on Thursday, 15 February 2018.
