STIPE'S REPORT MR NEWMAN, a course scratching as it had sustained a cut on the left side of the mouth, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again. BLACK SEQUALO (J Chuah) stood and lost considerable ground at the start. The gelding will be required to pass one starting stall test before being declared to race again. At the start, MAGIC RANGER (App S Rosmizan) had to steady when MR VICTORY (S Muniandy) jumped awkwardly outwards and SOUTH EMPEROR (HS Gill) jumped awkwardly inwards. RUBICON (S Thai Yang) jumped awkwardly outwards at the start, carrying ELEGENT (TM Wan) and BLOOD ROYAL (App KC Wong) wider on the track. BLOOD ROYAL and BLACK SEQUALO were trapped five wide at about the 700M. Passing the 150M, MR VICTORY laid outwards and bumped RUBICON, resulting in both riders becoming unbalanced momentarily. At about the 50M, CHINESE STREET (J Shankar) had to steady when SEMIFREDDO (Y Aify) laid inwards. The Stewards will be investigating into the ride of App M Sathiaa on GOLDEN EMPIRE at a date to be fixed. Post-race veterinary examinations of SEMIFREDDO, GOLDEN EMPIRE and BLACK SEQUALO revealed no obvious abnormality.
