STIPE'S REPORT
TURF CHAMPION (M Nunes) was slightly slow to begin.

STAR KING (N Juglall) jumped outwards at the start making slight contact with ATHENA (M Rodd).

ASTROJET (A Munro) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped RAFALE (TH Koh) out onto GREATBALLS OF FIRE (B Vorster), which then made contact with the hindquarters of THE WIND (V Duric).

Approximately 50m after the start, HERACLES (C Grylls) was carried inwards by TURF CHAMPION, which shifted inwards abruptly.

TURF CHAMPION raced keenly in the middle stages.

PARKER (D David) raced wide throughout.

Near the 700m, GREATBALLS OF FIRE was carried wider by RAFALE, which shifted outwards after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of KINGS RYKER (K A¿Isisuhairi).

Near the 500m, RAFALE had to be eased to avoid the heels of HERACLES, which shifted outwards when improving. Jockey Grylls was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on STAR KING which revealed that the gelding returned not striding out freely.
