STIPE'S REPORT
After arriving at the barrier, both KATAGAS (M Nunes) and GOLDEN THUNDER (K A'Isisuhairi) had their saddles readjusted.

KATAGAS, which was fractious in the barrier, reared and became cast, was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. Acting on veterinary advice, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 2223Hrs. KATAGAS will be required to pass one starting stall test and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

LIM'S GREETING (App R Zawari), which jumped away awkwardly, was slow to begin after being crowded between TAUBOSS (App CC Wong) and GOLDEN THUNDER, which jumped awkwardly outwards.

CHOCOLATS (J Powell) jumped awkwardly outwards at the start bumping MADE IN CHINA (O Placais) onto the hindquarters of PEACH BOWL (A Munro). This resulted in PEACH BOWL being turned inwards further crowding MADE IN CHINA.

LIM'S GREETING, which was proving difficult to settle, had to be eased off the heels of TAUBOSS near the 1000m. LIM'S GREETING continued to race keenly until approaching the 700m.

LIM'S GREETING, which raced wide near the 800m, hung outwards making the turn into the straight and continued to hang outwards finishing the race extremely wide.

PRATT STREET (B Vorster) had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the early part of the straight.

PRATT STREET had a tendency to lay outwards over the final 200m.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on CHOCOLATS which revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on LIM'S GREETING which revealed no apparent abnormality. LIM'S GREETING, which hung outwards and finished the race extremely wide, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
