SINGAPORE JUNE MEETING 2017
SUNDAY, 04 JUNE 2017:

RACE 5 [TF0722]

On Friday, 29 September 2017, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the reasons for App Y Salim, the rider of MORITZ ECLIPSE, being dislodged when racing to the outside of LUCKY SIX (A Munro), GET GOING (App S Shafrizal), LIM'S SHOT (D Beasley) and SENATOR (M Nunes). It was established that near the 1000m, LUCKY SIX, which was racing keenly, was carried inwards slightly by SOUTHERN DRAGON (N Juglall). At the same time, LIM'S SHOT shifted outwards abruptly after racing up onto the heels of LADRONE (M Kellady). This resulted in LIM'S SHOT being turned outwards after making contact with GET GOING. As such, GET GOING and LUCKY SIX made heavy contact with LUCKY SIX shifting outwards sharply bumping heavily with MORITZ ECLIPSE, which became unbalanced and dislodged its rider. In the circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no further action was taken.

This resulted in LADY LIBERTY and MR CONNERY brushing for a short distance and MR CONNERY being turned inwards slightly. At the same time, KASHAN shifted outwards slightly with LADY LIBERTY being crowded and having to check. In the circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no further action was taken.
