STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 8 [TF1124]
CLASS 4 POLYTRACK 1200M

As there was no suitable rider available, the Stewards gave permission for claiming Jockey M Ewe to replace claiming App T See on STAR INVINCIBLE when the latter was unable to make the weight. App See was subsequently fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 107(9).

Acting on veterinary advice that LUCKY MISSION (App CK Ng) was found to be lame near-fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 2139Hrs. In terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

RIVER GOLDEN (R Woodworth) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped SOLITAIRE (D David) in onto RICH FORTUNE (O Placais).

SOUTHERN SPUR (V Duric) began awkwardly and made contact with PRATT STREET (App N Zyrul) on jumping.

Approaching the 1100m, RIVER GOLDEN had to be taken inwards away from SPECIAL RAIN (S John), which had been bumped heavily inwards by DESERT FOX (I Saifudin), which shifted inwards. Jockey Saifudin was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

Jockey David reported that SOLITAIRE was making respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned as a roarer. SOLITAIRE will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.
