STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 1 [TF0998]
CLASS 5 1200M
DIVISION 1

SUPER DAN (N Juglall) was slow into stride.

EASY DRAGON (App CS Chin) and DESTINY KNIGHT (App H Syafiq) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after passing the 1000m, SUPER DAN steadied when racing tight to the inside of IMMORTAL LEGACY (M Chadwick).

Passing the 800m, SHE'S THE ONE (I Azhar) was bumped by MUSCULAR DRAGON (O Placais), which steadied outwards and away from the heels of SUPER DAN.

Passing the 700m, PRECIOUS GEM (App I Amirul) was crowded to the inside of EASY DRAGON, which rolled inwards.

Passing the 200m, Jockey M Rodd, the rider of ARR FLAIR, had his whip struck out of his hand when racing tight to the inside of MUSCULAR DRAGON.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SUPER DAN which revealed no apparent abnormality.

App M Poon, when questioned regarding the run of HOT GOLD, stated that it was not his intention to lead today as his instructions were to place the gelding where comfortable throughout the run. However, after beginning well, he found himself leading without placing any undue pressure on HOT GOLD. He further added that once racing in the lead, the gelding began to race keenly and established a bigger lead than he would have wanted. His explanation was noted.
