STIPE'S REPORT
Due to a delay in the start time of Race 6, this race was put back five minutes and rescheduled to start at 2125Hrs.

VIVIANO (M Nunes) began awkwardly.

ABSOLUTE MIRACLE (D Beasley), which was slow into stride, was inconvenienced shortly after the start by CHEETAH ON FIRE (A Munro), which was carried inwards by ONE RAR (App H Syafiq).

Shortly after the start, BLUE DANUBE (App MM Firdaus) lost ground after bumping with ODE TO JOY (N Juglall) and being crowded between that gelding and GOLDEN CURL (App CC Wong). Shortly thereafter, BLUE DANUBE had to be eased to avoid the heels of ODE TO JOY, which shifted inwards slightly.

Near the 1200m, GOLDEN CURL was eased when crowded by ODE TO JOY, which shifted inwards and away from POSEIDON (V Duric).

Approaching the 1000m, ONE RAR steadied when momentarily crowded by VIVIANO, which laid inwards.

MIGHTY WARRIOR (O Placais) raced wide throughout.

ODE TO JOY raced wide from the 800m.

ABSOUTE MIRACLE was held up for clear running from the 600m until shortly after passing the 400m.

Jockey Juglall, when questioned regarding the run of ODE TO JOY, stated that his mount raced keenly in the early stages. He added that after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of POSEIDON near the 900m, he allowed his mount to shift outwards and stride forward in an effort to get the gelding to settle better. He added that when he placed ODE TO JOY under pressure near the 400m, it failed to quicken and was disappointing over the concluding stages. His explanation was noted. A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on ODE TO JOY which revealed no apparent abnormality.
