STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 3 [TF0315]
CLASS 4 LC (A) 1200M
DIVISION 2

After arriving at the barrier, ELISE (R Woodworth) had its saddle readjusted.

TITAN FIGHTER (N Juglall) was difficult behind the barrier. Trainer R Le
Grange was advised that a warning has been placed on TITAN FIGHTER
regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action
may be taken in future.

MISS WAIMATAITAI (S Anandan) began awkwardly.

EL CAMINO (S John) and OCEAN MASTER (TH Koh) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after the start, MILLENNIUMS RULE (V Duric) had to be eased to
avoid the heels of BE BOLD (M Rodd), which shifted outwards and away from
MISS WAIMATAITAI. Shortly after, XZUBERANCE (K AIsisuhairi) had to be
eased when tightened between EL CAMINO and CHALAZA (D Beasley), which
was carried outwards by BE BOLD, which continued to shift outwards and
away from MISS WAIMATAITAI.

Near the 1100m, EL CAMINO had to be eased when tightened between
CHALAZA and ELISE, which laid inwards and away from MISS BLANCHETT (B
Vorster).

Approaching the 1000m, ELISE, which had been racing keenly, had to be
steadied to avoid the heels of MISS BLANCHETT, which shifted inwards. This
resulted in CHALAZA, which was following, having to be eased outwards,
thereby making contact with EL CAMINO, which became momentarily
unbalanced.

Near the 900m, CHALAZA eased when racing tight between BE BOLD and EL
CAMINO.

After passing the 400m, ELISE and MISS BLANCHETT brushed on a couple of
occasions.

Approaching the 300m, MISS WAIMATAITAI laid inwards under pressure and
bumped MASTERMIND (I Azhar).

Jockey I Azhar, the rider of MASTERMIND, reported that the gelding had
returned with its saddle having shifted sideways during the race.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on TITAN FIGHTER
which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely. TITAN
FIGHTER, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial
and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
