RACE 6 [TF0307]
MEXICAN ROSE 2010 STAKES
KRANJI STAKES D POLYTRACK 1100M
DIVISION 1

Prior to the start, THUNDER CAT (O Placais) was examined by the Veterinary
Surgeon and passed fit to race.

After arriving at the barrier, SUPER BRILLIANT (D David) had its saddle
readjusted.

SUPER BRILLIANT lost ground after beginning awkwardly.

THUNDER CAT began awkwardly.

DASH OF CLASS (App CK Ng) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped
DESERT FOX (I Saifudin).

SMART FORTUNE (App Y Salim) and CAVATINA (R Woodworth) bumped on
jumping, resulting in SMART FORTUNE becoming unbalanced.

After passing the 800m, CAVATINA shifted inwards slightly and bumped RUM
N RAISINS (O Chavez).

DESERT FOX and DASH OF CLASS both raced wide throughout.

GOLDEN MISSION (S Sam) was held up for clear running from the 600m
until near the 300m.

Approaching the 200m, GOLDEN MISSION was taken across the heels of RUM
N RAISINS when attempting to obtain a run. Shortly after, GOLDEN
MISSION checked when crowded between RUM N RAISINS, which was giving
ground and SMART FORTUNE, which rolled inwards slightly away from
CAVATINA.

Shortly after passing the 200m, LUCKY SIX (J Powell) and STIRLING (G
Boss) both eased to avoid the heels of DESERT FOX, which shifted inwards
under pressure.

Jockey Placais reported that THUNDER CAT was not striding out freely. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on AUSPICIOUS ACE (A
Munro) which revealed no apparent abnormality.
