STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 1 [TF0256]
CLASS 5 1400M

AUREUS (TH Koh) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped SIMPANG (App
CC Wong) out onto IN BOCCA AL LUPO (D David).

Shortly after the start, HOT GOLD (M Rodd) and LUCKY COME (S John)
bumped.

HOT GOLD raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

AUREUS, JIMTOWN (App Z Zuriman) and SIMPANG all raced wide
throughout.

Near the 500m, HOT GOLD, which continued to race keenly, had to be
steadied after improving onto the heels of MAI DARKO (V Duric).

HOT GOLD and IN BOCCA AL LUPO were both held up and unable to improve
from the 500m until the 400m.

Making the turn into the straight, AUREUS was carried wider by MAI DARKO,
which shifted outwards to improve.

JIMTOWN laid outwards making the turn into the straight.

ASTRO MAN (App Y Salim) laid outwards under pressure over the concluding
stages resulting in MAI DARKO being carried wider on the track.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on MAI DARKO which
revealed no apparent abnormality.

App Zuriman, when questioned regarding the run of JIMTOWN, stated that
he was caught wide throughout the race, and, added that in the
homestraight, the gelding mis-strode on a couple of occasions and that he
was not comfortable with JIMTOWNs action. For this reason, he was
reluctant to place the gelding under pressure over the concluding stages. His
explanation was noted.
