WISHES COME TRUE STAKES
CLASS 5 POLYTRACK 1200M
DIVISION 2

Trainer L Khoo, when questioned regarding the significant increase in the
body weight of PEREGRINE FALCON (App WS Chan), stated that the gelding
had returned from a lengthy spell and had built up significantly during this
time. He added that PEREGRINE FALCON had progressed well during training
and had worked well. He also added that PEREGRINE FALCON was, in his
opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed PEREGRINE
FALCON fit to race.

Acting on veterinary advice that MILLION ROUND (R Woodworth) was found
to be lame near-fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at
1543Hrs. In terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an
Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

MEAISIN (M Ewe) was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.

TIME AFTER TIME (A Munro) was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start, CASSIS OOLONG (N Juglall) was bumped by
HIGHLIGHT (S Sam), which shifted inwards after making contact with
PEREGRINE FALCON. As a result of this incident, HIGHLIGHT lost ground.

MEAISIN raced wide throughout.

PRETTY ELUSIVE (M Nunes) had a tendency to lay outwards in the straight.

Shortly after passing the 100m, PRETTY ELUSIVE and MAGIC PAINT (App CK
Ng) brushed.

The Farrier reported that HELEN (V Duric) returned having cast its near-hind
plate.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on HIGHLIGHT which
revealed that the horse returned with a cut on its near-hind pastern.
