RACE 11 [TF0072]
OPEN BENCHMARK 67 SC (C) 1200M

RISKY ROCKEFELLER (G Mosse) was fractious in the barrier resulting in it
becoming cast. Acting on the veterinary advice, it was withdrawn by order of
the Panel of Stewards at 1759Hrs. RISKY ROCKEFELLER will be required to
pass one starting stall test and a veterinary examination prior to being
declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

Prior to the All Clear being given, Trainer S Baertschiger and App H Syafiq,
the rider of JELLY BEAN, requested to view the race video with a view to
considering lodging an objection. After viewing the video, they believed that
there was insufficient grounds to lodge the objection and the All Clear was
declared.

CATCH ME GREAT (I Saifudin) jumped away awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, SAND BANK (App WS Chan) was bumped by LIMS
SPRINT (D Beasley), which shifted in and away from OXBOW SUN (App CC
Wong).

OPTIMUS (G Boss) was held up for clear running from the 400m until the
200m.

AL GREEN (V Duric) was held up for clear running from the 400m until the
100m.

HADES (A Munro) had difficulty obtaining clear running from the 400m until
the 100m.

Over the concluding stages, JELLY BEAN checked when racing to the inside of
NAZIR (App R Zawari). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to
be fixed.

Jockey Beasley, when questioned regarding the run of LIMS SPRINT, stated
that the gelding had a tendency to overrace in the early stages and laid
outwards making the turn near the 800m. Thereafter, LIMS SPRINT failed to
respond to his riding when placed under pressure. A subsequent veterinary
examination was requested on LIMS SPRINT which revealed no apparent
abnormality.

GENERAL

SINGAPORE JANUARY MEETING 2017
MONDAY, 02 JANUARY 2017:

RACE 06 [TF0029]

On Sunday, 08 January 2017, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into a
report from the Clerk of Scales that App T See, the rider of START ME UP,
returned to scale 1.0kg over the declared weight that he weighed out for the
above race. App T See pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 121(7) in
that after riding START ME UP in Race 6 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting

declared weight that he weighed out for the race. There was no evidence to
suggest that App T See had or attempted to deceive the Clerk of Scales when
weighing. However, App T See had admitted consuming some fluid after he
weighed out for the race and that this may have contributed to him returning
overweight. When considering penalty, the Stewards took into account the
nature of the charge, guilty plea and his record. The Stewards determined to
suspend his licence to ride in races to begin on Monday, 09 January 2017
until Friday, 20 January 2017 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race
Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

the 200m, he allowed his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear
resulting in ASTROSPEED (App S Shafrizal), having to be checked. When
deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea,
the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Boss was suspended
from riding in races with effect from Monday, 09 January to Sunday, 15
January 2017 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was
