Emergency acceptor, CITY BEAT was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
SPECIAL STAR, a course scratching as it was suffering from skin allergy, will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
ROYAL JET, a course scratching as it was lame near fore, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.
EAST CAMP which was up 19kgs in body weight and MAGICAL IDOL which was up 21kgs in body weight since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
RED WARRIOR which was restless in the barrier, jumped awkwardly and was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start, RECIPROCAL laid in and had to be straightened. At about the same time, EAST CAMP rolled in and bumped CONUNDRUM.
Approaching the 500M, ANGKI switched out over the heels of MAGICAL IDOL to obtain a clear run.
EAST CAMP commenced to shift out from the 400M and carried WU JIN wide.
At approximately the 300M, RED WARRIOR switched in over the heels of KING AND NOBLE to obtain a clear run.
ITS ALL FATED and KING AND NOBLE which both raced poorly, will each be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.
Jockey S Sandana, the rider of GUAN YI, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of GUAN YI revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that NEWEST RANCHO and RECIPROCAL bled and will each be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b).
Post-race veterinary examinations of CONUNDRUM and RED WARRIOR revealed no obvious abnormality.
