At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Sunday, 18 April 2010, Jockey O Chavez, the rider of FAMOUS THAN U, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding FAMOUS THAN U in the eighth race at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 09 April 2010, near the 100m, he allowed his mount to shift outwards when insufficiently clear, thereby crowding TRICKY MASTER (O Placais), which checked and lost ground. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, degree of interference, carelessness and submissions from Jockey Chavez that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 23 April 2010 and Saturday, 24 April 2010 and Perak Race Meeting on Sunday, 25 April 2010. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 26 April 2010 until Sunday, 02 May 2010 both dates inclusive (three Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Sunday, 18 April 2010, Jockey O Placais, the rider of STYLISH PRINCE, was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding STYLISH PRINCE in the fourth race at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 16 April 2010, shortly after making the turn into the straight, he allowed his mount to shift outwards whilst riding it along and insufficiently clear, thereby crowding FORTUNE HUNTER (B Vorster) onto I STAR (M Gallagher), resulting in FORTUNE HUNTER having to check and lose ground. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, degree of interference, carelessness and submissions from Jockey Placais that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 23 April 2010 and Saturday, 24 April 2010. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Sunday, 25 April 2010 until Friday,
07 May 2010 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

16 APRIL 2010 THAT GHOZI FROM TRAINER J OHARAS STABLES HAD NOT BEEN VACCINATED AS REQUIRED IN TERMS OF MRA REGULATION 20.1
Trainer J OHara was fined a sum of S$1,000 under MRA Regulation 20.6 by failing to ensure that the Vaccinations were current for GHOZI as required under MRA Regulation 20.1.
