STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 5 [TF1229]
CLASS 4 1100M
DIVISION 2

RED ANT (S John) was slow to begin.

GROUND CONTROL (V Duric) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped
DELFYNE (App I Amirul). GROUND CONTROL then shifted outwards slightly
and was bumped by FLYING SHADOW (A Munro).

PLATOON (M Rodd) and MUSCLE BEACH (App H Syafiq) bumped on jumping.
MUSCLE BEACH then had to be eased to avoid the heels of MEGATHINK (App
CS Chin), which shifted inwards.

DISTINCTIVE DARCI (M Nunes) raced wide throughout.

Approaching the 600m, PLATOON was eased when disappointed for a run
between MEGATHINK and GROUND CONTROL.

PLATOON had some difficulty obtaining clear running from the 500m until
shortly after passing the 400m.

Near the 50m, PLATOON and GROUND CONTROL brushed.

App MM Firdaus, the rider of BARNATO, reported that the gelding had
returned with its saddle having shifted back during the running.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on MEGATHINK which
revealed that the gelding returned as a roarer. The Veterinary Surgeon also
advised that MEGATHINK had previously undergone corrective surgery for
this condition.
