SINGAPORE AUGUST MEETING 2016
SUNDAY, 14 AUGUST 2016:
RACE 6 [TF1035]
On Tuesday, 16 August 2016, App CK Ng, rider of BRAHMS AND LISZT, in his
presence of his Masters B Trainer, Mr Garry Clutterbuck, was charged with
careless riding in that near the 1600m, he allowed his mount to shift
inwards, when insufficiently clear, thereby resulting in LIKA TIGER (A Munro)
having to be checked.
On Sunday, 21 August 2016, the Stewards heard further evidence and
submissions from App Ng, Mr Clutterbuck and Jockey Munro in relation to the
careless riding charge. It was established that LIKA TIGER, which was
proving difficult to settle near the 1600m, got its head up when being eased
after BRAHMS AND LISZT shifted inwards. Thereafter, LIKA TIGER again had
to be eased after racing up when becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of
BRAHMS AND LISZT. After considering the evidence, the Stewards were of
the view that the charge issued against App Ng could not be sustained and
the careless riding charge was withdrawn. However, App Ng was warned and
advised that he must exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

the rider of SKY ELEVEN, in the presence of his Master, Trainer L Khoo,
