STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 6 (R1247) CLASS 4 1100m (str)

JULY JUHO which was up 25kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the
Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

WASHINGTON BAY (KT Cheng) and WARN YOU MAN (HK Cheng) were slow to
begin.

XAVIO (CK Tan) shifted out on jumping away and as a result, SAND LANE (App AM
Aizat) had to be checked and lost its position.

OUR FRIENDLY DIVA (F Yap) had to be checked racing to the 250M to avoid the
heels of BRAVE SISTER (App BB Singh) which was shifting out. App BB Singh, the
rider of BRAVE SISTER was shown the video of the race in the presence of his master,
Trainer K Coetzee and was warned to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.

SAND LANE raced onto the heels of TRIPLE COIN (App Z Khairil) at the 150M and
had to be checked and shifted inwards to obtain a clear run.

App SU Lim, the rider of LUCK ALOT reported that his mount was not striding out
freely. A post-race veterinary examination of LUCK ALOT revealed no obvious
abnormality.

Post-race veterinary examinations of TAGORE (HS Gill), TRIPLE COIN and WARN
YOU MAN revealed no obvious abnormality.

The Stewards questioned App KC Wong, the rider of JULY JUHO in the presence of his
master, Trainer KL Chong regarding his ride over the last 50M of the race. App KC
Wong explained that JULY JUHO traveled well and was able to lead the field. However,
over the last 100M, he felt there was something amiss with the geldings action and he
did not ride to the finish. The Stewards noted his explanation, however the Stewards
warned him that he is expected to ride all his mounts to the end of the race, failing which
action may be taken against him in future.

The Stewards questioned Trainer S Cook as to the improved performance of OKI OKI
(Lou Ho) today as compared to its previous run on the 3rd of September 2016. Trainer S
Cook stated that the gelding was not suited by the wide draw and the soft track in Penang
and in his opinion, the advantageous barrier draw and the good going have contributed to
its improved performance. His explanation was noted.
