STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 (R501) CLASS 5 1400m(lc) GENEROUS TYCOON-2010 HANDICAP

SEA BUTTERFLY which was down 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was
checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of POWER WIND (WK Yan) at 1.47pm acting on
veterinary advice that the gelding was bleeding in its mouth. POWER WIND will be
required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

PROPITIONS GOLD (CK Tan) was examined behind the barriers by the Club
Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.

EMPEROR QIAN LONG (S Sandana) was slow to begin

SEA BUTTERFLY (App AM Aizat) jumped away awkwardly and stumbled shortly after
the start.

App AM Aizat, the rider of SEA BUTTERLY reported that his mount was not striding
out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of SEA BUTTERFLY revealed no
obvious abnormality.

SEA BUTTERFLY which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet)
before being declared to race again.

A post-race veterinary examination of DARK EXPRESS (C Goon) revealed no obvious
abnormality.

The Stewards questioned jockey S Sandana, the rider of EMPEROR QIAN LONG who
explained that his instructions were to be handy, but he was unable to carry out the
instructions when the horse began awkwardly and was slow into stride. The Stewards
were satisfied that after the start, he pushed forward and improved his position, but the
Stewards advised him that he should have used more vigour from the 800M until the
400M. No further action was taken.
