RACE 8 [TF1510]
CLASS 5 1700M

RON (TH Koh) began awkwardly.

TONGARIRO (M Ewe) and PINYIN (O Placais) bumped on jumping.
TONGARIRO then shifted inwards and bumped LUCKY COIN (M Nunes) on
two occasions. LUCKY COIN then had to be steadied when momentarily
crowded between CLERMONT CLUB (R Shafiq) and TONGARIRO, which was
carried inwards by PINYIN.

Approximately 50m after the start, NOVA POWER (K AIsisuhairi) had to be
steadied when crowded between GOLD CUSTOMER (A Da Silva) and PINYIN,
which shifted outwards.

After passing the 1500m, CLERMONT CLUB, which was racing keenly, had to
be checked after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of DESTINY
KNIGHT (App I Amirul), which laid outwards. LUCKY COIN and TONGARIRO,
which were both following, had to be eased in consequence.

CLERMONT CLUB raced keenly in the middle stages.

DESTINY KNIGHT lost its position when held up for clear running behind the
tiring RON between the 600m and the 300m.

Passing the 300m, NOVA POWER and PINYIN bumped on a number of
occasions. Shortly after, PINYIN eased when crowded between NOVA
POWER, which laid inwards and KARIGARA (G Boss), which laid outwards.

Approaching the 200m, SILENT POWER (S Anandan) had to be eased off the
heels of CLERMONT CLUB, which checked outwards after running up onto the
heels of SUN HANCOCK (A Munro).

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on CLERMONT CLUB
which revealed no apparent abnormality.
